although this doesn't turn me on the the tingle is a bit like the feeling when I'm starting to get a little horny and maybe makes me more receptive to trying to get aroused by something else. Maybe enough to take me from a "not interested" to a "lets see if I can get in the mood". Certainly not orgasmic, I can't feel the tingle with a toy in action or anything but it's that initial kick in the butt. It feels like other essential oils when I get them on my skin and that's basically what this is. I'm not sure if there is a home made version but likely if you know enough about carrier oils or what not to be confident putting it on your privates
